Greetings BRMBC:
I hope this note finds you all healthy, active and safe. It certainly has been a challenging year in many regards, but out of adversity beginning in the spring we as neighbors, friends, riders and a club have a lot to be thankful for and proud of. The challenges presented by the virus resulted in a tremendous amount of trail work being completed by many different club members. Trail days and Tour de Valley were cancelled or abbreviated but
the enthusiasm and support of so many club members and riders was stronger than ever. The Landowner Appreciation Day stands out as most memorable for me. We had in excess of 40 people (young and old) help 15 different landowners and the enthusiasm and appreciation from everyone was contagious! Some of the many achievements we as a club accomplished this past year are:

New trail additions and lots of root popping at West Hill with 2 new bridges!!!
Trail extension at Cricket Hill extending Bermie Sanders made possible with a generous grant from Greenworks greenworkstools.com and work performed by club member Greg Fatigate RabbittracksVTrabbittracksvt.com
Billings Trails benefited from well attended trail day and we were able to reclaim trail from Mother Nature.
Macomber saw lots of trail maintenance with a few new bridges and berms.
Lyster zone as always did not disappoint with lots of trail maintenance and a few key re-routes.
Of course there is Schneiders, the zone we all brag about and how fast and flowy it is. Well we had a chance this year to enhance that as well and it rode better then ever!
Added 10 additional parking spaces at Valley Dream Farm
Looking forward to the upcoming season we hope and are planning to:
Continue trail maintenance and trail enhancement in all our zones
Apply for another grant for additional trail development at Cricket Hill
Connect Macomber Ridge trail to Billings Zone via new single track
Re-build long bridge at Billings
Continue to support organizations that promote responsible riding, youth participation, conservation and respect for the outdoors.
